My Audience

I have created a reader profile of the cross mix genre I am using to show the main target audience of my music video. All the images placed in the reader profile specifically relate to the appearance and aspects of the audience itself. Particular items that are related with my audience such as the denim and leather jacket are traditionally country and now have recently become a trend in today culture.
A member of my audience is aged between 14-20 and focuses all her energy on obsessing over the pop culture. With pressures to be popular during her teenage years she will follow the current trends in society. This is mainly considered to be celebrity obsessed therefore this would include gigs and queuing to meet famous artists. The mix of country and pop included in the genre provides a contemporary and exciting blend on the very popular pop genre which will awaken the nation gain the hearts of all  young girls.

PLAN Hair and Make up

MAKE UP

Louisa Brumfield
  • No foundation - my model already has a clear complexion, also this will show the natural beauty of my model which is very conventional of the country style.
  • Blusher - I will use different amounts of blusher on my model depending on the section of filming we will be completing. For example shots when the model is thinking about her love she will have rosy cheeks which resembles her happiness.
  • Eye Shadow - colours which are again very natural to my models skin tone for example: light browns, pinks, cream shadows. This will give my model a light and natural radiance.
  • Eye Liner- Perhaps I will use a small amount of eye liner on my model to make her eyes appear more large and awake but not enough so the audience can notice.
  • Mascara - I will be using mascara on the upper lashes of my model to make her eyes seem fuller, Louisa in particular has very long eyelashes which could be very useful during my filming in certain shots for example extreme close ups of the eye.

  • Elliot Morrell

  • I will not be using make up on the male model for my music video as I am trying to create a rugged and manly appearance which by using make up clearly goes against this ideology.

  • HAIR

    Louisa Brumfield

    • The models hair will be down and wavy for all of the shots in the music video. This choice could be citicised however i feel it is very important for the model to look as natural as possible suiting the theme of the music video. Also this hairstyle is practical, time to film is quite limited as the model cannot leave her college premices during free periods, then when she arrives home at 5 it is too dark outside to film.
    • I am considering using a red bow in the models hair as I have found from research this is a convention of a country models appearence.
    Elliot Morrell

    • Again I do not have any plans for changing the hairstyle of the male model. His naturally styled blonde hair will suit his character in the music video.
